I was born in beautiful Cambodia and grew up there before the big change in my life. When I was 9, my family and I moved to corn country……..Iowa.It was a tough adjustment for me, language differences, culture shock and just being in the Midwest where we were one of the few minorities. But my amazing mother made it all work. She sacrificed so many things just to provide me with a better life and future. From there, my family spent the next 12 years splitting time between Iowa and Florida. My family couldn't decide where to live and I went along for the ride. Later, I went to the University of Iowa for about 2 years before dropping out of school to move to California. It was a crazy thing to do but it’s worked out sooooo well. I love it out here! I truly love the Bay Area. After living in so many places, I discovered that this is the best place for me. I love the different cultures and different ethnic groups, the weather, and more than anything else…….the FOOD! For the first time in my life, I feel like I belong. I kind of stumbled into modeling. I never really wanted to do it, but since starting, I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s definitely been a big step outside of the norm for me and I’ve learn a lot about myself. Modeling has helped me develop my self-esteem. It seems glamorous but it's tough in this field. You have to have a strong backbone to withstand all the criticism. Currently, I’m attending nursing school and have almost completed my degree. Thank the Buddha for that. I’m surrounded by so much love and get lots of encouragement from my friends and family.
